Construction work is planned this summer on Hwy 99W between Newberg and the Hwy 18 junction near Dayton. Most of the work is scheduled to take place during the night, but some daytime work is scheduled, including this Saturday, July 12. The road will remain open, but it will be limited to one lane in either direction as they work on the railroad crossing at the Western edge of Newberg. To avoid delays, here are two alternate routes to Winter’s Hill Estate:
Alternate #1 : Hwy 240 to Abbey Road, through Lafayette

Alternate #2: From I-5 North of Salem, take the scenic Wheatland Ferry to Hwy 221, then drive North through Dayton.
