The Nittany Epicurean reviews our Pinot Gris & Blanc

We just received a couple reviews from The Nittany Epicurean. You can read the full articles at The Nittany Epicurean.

2014 Pinot Gris:

“The wine showed a light golden color. Apple, pithy lemon, hay and slate could all be found on the nose. Apple, lemon, honey, hay and limestone followed on the palate where the minerality of the wine was allowed to shine. The wine exhibited good acidity and balancem along with average structure and length. This wine would make a good aperitif and would pair well with a poached halibut filet.”

2014 Pinot Blanc:

“The wine showed a pale straw color. Apple, lemon, slate and hay could all be found on a crisp nose. Apple, lemon, slate, hay and hints of peach followed on the palate with the stone fruit emerging as the wine opened up. The wine exhibited good acidity and minerality, along with average structure and length. This wine would be a good aperitif and would pair well with freshly shucked oysters or a clam chowder.”
