  • “An early autumn harvest in 2015 of his family’s 35-acre estate allowed Russell Gladhart to expand his reserve Pinot Gris program from the 2014 vintage, and he’s done a remarkable job with this release that blends some juice from neutral French oak barrels with stainless steel fermentation. It creates a theme of lemon bar and tutti frutti notes with bright, lively and long navel orange acidity. This requires a trip to the winery or the online store.” Full review here

  • “Russell Gladhart’s second vintage as the winemaker after taking over for his wife, Delphine, and Pinot Gris from this record-warm vintage began to be harvested Sept. 26 from the family’s certified L.I.V.E. estate in the middle of the Dundee Hills. There’s neither oak nor malolactic fermentation involved in this bottling, and the results are aromas and flavors of butterscotch, Bosc pear, yellow grapefruit and lemon oil, capped by a mouthwatering finish  of Limeade. 2015 Pinot Blanc-Wine rated Outstanding-Wine Club Release April 2017

  • “The Gladhart family devotes 2 of their 35 acres to Pinot Blanc, a white grape from Burgundy that thrives in cooler conditions in the Pacific Northwest. Whole-cluster fermentation in stainless steel helps explain the phenomenally floral aromas of piña colada and peach fuzz backed by tangerine, grapefruit and Rose’s Lime Juice. Tangy tangerine flavors are followed by white peach and nectarine. Bright acidity and lime oil in the finish combine to allow for the fruit to be represented as ripe yet not sweet. This deserves to join the conversation as one of the region’s best examples, and the Gladharts plan to release this early this spring, and they suggest serving it with shellfish.” Full review here
