50 years ago the Willamette Valley witnessed the
beginning of the modern day wine industry. The early pioneers put their heart and soul into this area because they saw Oregon as a truly remarkable wine growing region. We are happy to carry on this wonderful tradition, and invite you to join us throughout the year to celebrate
by raising a glass of Pinot noir.
Bring the family out to help us celebrate the Holiday Season. Russell will be sampling pinot noir from the barrel throughout the day, and we will also have Stone Barn Brandy Works here sampling a fortified pinot noir made from our grapes on Saturday.
Stone Barn Brandyworks, a craft distillery in SE Portland, will be sampling its “Tawny Duet”, a fortified wine in a light-port style- we started with an Pinot Noir ice wine from Winters Hill Vineyard and fortified it with a house-made Pinot Noir brandy, aged it two years in oak. Its has a great tawny color, 25% alcohol and is wonderful to sip with cheese, or in a Rye cocktail (50/50 with some bitters). We’ll also be tasting other seasonal liqueurs from our Fall line-up. Saturday November 28 only. Bottles will be available for sale.Join us from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, November 27-28, 2015. We are closed Sunday, November 29th so that we can enjoy the day with our family. $15 tasting fee, complimentary for Cellar Door Club members and 4 guests.
