Red Hills Market will be here with their wood-fired oven cooking up delicious food to pair with our Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Rosé of Pinot Noir. Sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Coastal Mountains.

Food served from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is also the time for Fueled By Fine Wine 1/2 Marathon packet pickup.

The entirely new class of running events is coming once again to Oregon’s Dundee Hills AVA wine region summer 2018! Fueled by Fine Wine, in collaboration with the Dundee Hills AVA, is proud to present the 9th annual Fueled by Fine Wine Half-Marathon on Sunday July 8, 2018. This event sets itself apart by exploring some of the most magnificent vineyard vistas in Oregon, as well as by working with local Dundee charities and Oregon sponsors creating an exciting event for the region while also supporting the local economy.

A very limited group of 1,200 lucky runners will have the exclusive opportunity to propel themselves over some of the many hills that make up Oregon’s world-class wine region. Entrants will be treated to a unique departure from a typical running course, a large portion of the event will follow unpaved vineyard trails as they wind through rows of grapes and under branches of Oregon’s prized hazelnut trees. This is a HARD course and as race architect Chris Nagy, president of Fueled by Fine Wine points out that on this run “You won’t run your best time— but you’ll have the BEST time!” It’s a run that delightfully blends Oregon’s love of outdoor adventure with the passion for fine wines.

Just as unique as the race venue, the after-race party will offer a perfect opportunity to sample— as well as stock the wine cellar with— some of Oregon’s best offerings, in the company of winemakers and fellow wine connoisseurs. The event registration fee includes an awesome tech race shirt, a colorful and substantial medal, race timing by AA Sports, a logo wine glass, admission to the after-race party, which includes a well-earned tasting of acclaimed Dundee Hills wines in addition to the rare opportunity to run in the midst of some of Oregon’s most famous wineries.

Join us for yoga with Martha. This 1 hour yoga class is free and is open to all levels. Please bring your own yoga mat with you. You are then invited to taste wines and socialize afterwards. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic with you. Martha is a yoga instructor at Nourish Northwest in Portland.

The class is free, and to show appreciation to Martha cash tips are appreciated.

Wine tasting fee is $15. We also sell wine by the bottle and glass.

Dionysus Dash is coming to Winter’s Hill Estate to host a 5k trail run complete with wine tasting! We hope you’ll join us!

Are you worthy to run with Dionysus the Greek God of Wine?

Please join us for a 5k run/walk through the beautiful vineyards at Winter’s Hill Estate.
This event is for the novice and avid runners, wine tasters and Greek walkers.

We will have wine tasting, music and awards. It is time to RUN with the “Greek God of Wine” Dionysus We encourage everyone to bring out their TOGA’s and greek head pieces.

Bubbles & Oysters featuring Tournant

To celebrate Harvest this year we are popping the cork on our 1st ever sparkling wine!

This Brut is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. Toasted brioche, almonds and melon come through on the nose. The wine explodes with flavors of bright fresh citrus, melon and apple. A long finish is highlighted with key lime pie, and mouthwatering acidity that leaves you wanting more. This sparkling wine is delicious now, or has the ability to age for many years.

We are excited to have Tournant out to serve up freshly shucked Pacific oysters & an array of cheeses, seasonal crudités, house made dips, olives and nuts. Food will be served from noon-3:00pm.

It is with great sorrow that we had to say goodbye to a wonderful friend, and fellow winemaker, Jesus Guillen. Jesus lost a brief and unexpected battle with cancer. To help raise funds to cover his medical bills, and to insure a promising future for his ten-year-old son, Adrian, we at Winter’s Hill Estate are hosting a one day only wine sale and tasting. We will only be sampling and selling Guillen Family wines. All tasting fees, and wine purchases will go directly to the Guillen Family. Oregon Wine was built by the founding families through years and decades of working together as a community, and now is your chance to give back to an Oregon Wine Family in need.

Statement from White Rose Estate:

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the untimely death of our beloved winemaker, Jesus Guillen. After a brief, unexpected battle with cancer, Jesus passed on the night of November 5th at the far too young age of 38, and is survived by his wife, Yuliana, and son Adrian.

Jesus moved to Oregon in 2002 after graduating from the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering. He began his wine career working in the vineyards for Patricia Green Cellars and later alongside his father, Jesus Sr., at White Rose Estate. Greg Sanders, owner of White Rose Estate, recognized Jesus’s interest and passion for wine, along with his keen intellect, and offered him a job in the cellar. Jesus seized the opportunity and dedicated himself to his craft, becoming the head winemaker at White Rose Estate in 2008. Meanwhile, in 2006, Jesus received a small amount of fruit from Vista Hills Vineyard from vines that had been damaged by voles in the drought-stricken season. Originally, the fruit was going to be discarded, yet Jesus ended up turning it into beautiful wine with his skill and intuition. This wine became the start of what is now Guillen Family Wines.

In addition to his accomplishments and numerous accolades as a talented and innovative winemaker with both Guillen Family Wines and White Rose Estate, Jesus was above all an amazing man, a loving father, a dedicated husband, a caring son, a great brother and an inspiration and joy to all he knew, worked with or merely crossed paths with. He was the kindest and most patient, humble and caring person you could meet. He broke barriers, inspired many, and could light up a room with his smile or laugh. He will always be remembered in the highest regard. His legacy will continue and will open paths for others. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him, and those he touched through his Wines Made in Beautiful Oregon, Por Manos Mexicanas.
