2012 Watershed Pinot Noir Makes Seattle Times’ Top 50 for 2014

Andy Perdue, the wine writer for Seattle Times, released the Pacific Northwest Top 50 Wines for 2014 a yesterday. Andy only considered wines that were tasted under blind conditions. Out of about 1,700 wineries located in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia) Andy tasted roughly 5,000 wines this year.  That’s a ton of wine!

We were extremely excited to see our name next to the 28th spot on the list.10_84120

“Winter’s Hill Estate 2012 Watershed pinot noir, Dundee Hills, $25: This longtime Oregon producer is focusing on small lots of high-end pinot noir. This delicious (and affordable) example is its best effort.”
