I wanted to share some exciting news with you surrounding Winter’s Hill Estate at this year’s Willamette Valley: The Pinot Noir Auction. The Auction featured 86 one-of-a-kind Pinot noir and six collaborative Chardonnay auction lots from the 2017 vintage, Our 10 case lot of Winter’s Hill Estate The Hartland Pinot Noir, sold for $10,000!

The Hartland Pinot noir is a unique blend of Pinot from Blocks 8, 9 & 10 that was made specifically for the auction.

With 450 members of the wine trade and media in attendance, the live auction saw 128 bidders representing 26 states and three countries. This fourth annual event raised a record-breaking dollar amount of over $1 million, and was at the Willamette Valley’s premier resort, The Allison Inn & Spa, in Newberg, Oregon.

All proceeds go to aid the Willamette Valley Wineries Association in funding future marketing and educational initiatives for the Willamette Valley Wine Community.
