We make our Rosé on purpose, it’s not an afterthought. It starts in the vineyard, where we select the blocks of Pinot noir best suited to our food-friendly Rosé.

We never mix red and white wine, instead we gently crush the fruit after picking, then let the juice and skins rest overnight to release beautiful pink color and delicate tannins from the skins. After gentle pressing, we ferment in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit aromas. The result is a gorgeous wine with heaps of fruit flavor and delicate tannins for a long finish.

All Pommard fruit colored a bright copper rose after a 12 hour cold soak prior to pressing. The tannins bring a flavor of herbal tea along with lightly-ripened strawberry fruit. A gentle, even delicate style that is perfect for sipping on a warm spring afternoon.
