We’re Determined to Keep This Resolution!

It’s a new year and we’re committed to protecting our environment.

Changing Our Bottles

This year, we are embracing Revino’s reusable glass bottle in an effort to reduce our total winemaking emissions. These bottles can be refilled up to 50 times and offer emission reductions of up to 85% compared to single-use bottles! Refillable bottles don’t affect the quality or ageability of our wine – just our impact on the environment.

Welcome Back, Pearly Everlasting

Our first wine to be released in this reusable bottle will be our 2023 Pearly Everlasting white blend. Always a fan-favorite, this unique blend of Pinot blanc, Pinot gris, and Chardonnay was blended at harvest time and co-fermented for even more complexity and aroma. (HINT…watch your inbox this Tuesday for more details!)

How You Can Help

For the reuse program to work, we do need your help returning the empty bottles so they can be refilled.

  • To identify these new bottles, look for outline of Oregon on the bottom of the bottle.
  • Then, if you live in Oregon or SW Washington, use this map to find a convenient return location.
  • If you live elsewhere, simply recycle the bottle with your other glass containers. (Recycling is helpful, too.)

And, if you bring a full case of empty bottles back to Winter’s Hill, we’ll thank you with a complimentary tasting!

Looking Ahead
As we release additional wines in this bottle in 2025, we will also be offering them as a choice in our monthly subscription service. If you are interested in learning more about this, please email cellardoor@wintershillwine.com.

Thank you for helping us positively impact the environment!

P.S. Living in a fire-prone region, as we do, the catastrophic fires in Southern California are especially frightening. I spent the weekend trimming brush and trying to reduce the risk around our home. I encourage you to visit the American Red Cross and make a donation to help our friends in California.
