Winters Hill Watershed Pinot noir in a wine pouch

For the past four years, we have been using flexible pouches to package our four most popular wines. What started as an experiment to better serve our restaurant customers has become the fastest growing part of our business. So far in 2025, more than half of our wine has gone into pouches and kegs instead of bottles.

Getting More Attention

While most people have been excited to see us embracing new formats, there are still many people, “wine-experts” and consumers alike, who don’t believe that high quality wine can be found outside of the traditional bottle. That’s why it is so encouraging to see traditional publications like Wine Spectator taking the time to evaluate and review top quality wines from around the world in Bag-in-Box packaging.

Although they did not review our wines, (we’ll make sure they have an opportunity in the near future 😊) we are still happy to see the spotlight shining on these excellent wines in convenient and environmentally friendly packaging.

Our Wines & Packaging Options

At Winter’s Hill Estate, we put the same care into all of our wines, whether they go into a bottle, a pouch, or a keg. We grow them in the same blocks of our vineyard, we harvest and ferment them using the same painstaking process, and we age and finish them in our small winery.

We are proud of the quality of our wines, and we love sharing our wines with you. Whatever packaging you prefer, thank you for supporting Winter’s Hill.
