Getting Ready for Harvest 2026
Each day when I walk through the vineyard, I see more purple berries. This is the most obvious and dramatic sign that harvest is just around the corner. It happens every year, but it’s still exciting.
While we are looking forward to harvest, our thoughts go out to the many people across Oregon and throughout the West who have been forced from their homes or worse by fast-moving wildfires. We are so grateful to the men and women working every day to keep our communities safe.
I am thankful that our vineyards have not been affected by fire or smoke, and I’ll be relieved when the fall rains arrive.
