Trop, a port-style dessert wine from Winter's Hill Estate

We hope you can join us on March 21 and be among the first to taste our newest dessert wine. Made in a Port-style from 100% Estate grown Pinot noir, Trop is a dense, delicious wine. You’ll want to sip it slowly, taking the time to savour the complex aromas.

We fortified this wine with barrel aged Pinot noir brandy to reach a final alcohol of 18%. The natural sugar in the wine balances with the alcohol and the acidity so that the flavors linger and evolve on the palate. Finally, the dense tannins give a clean finish.
