What would my father think?
Luciano and I meet regularly in the vineyard as we observe the vines, plan the week’s work, and discuss how to fix whatever piece of equipment has broken recently. During these meetings, I often wonder what my father would think or how he would address a problem. I don’t get to ask him in person anymore, but his presence is still strong here at Winter’s Hill.
I hope you will have the chance to share some time with loved ones this week, both in person and in your memories.

One way I’ll be celebrating Father’s Day is with a great big 3L bottle of 2018 Reserve Pinot noir! Join me on Sunday for a taste of one of our best vintages. This week, we are also continuing our exploration of our Single Block Pinot noir with a vertical (multi-vintage) tasting of Block 8.
After the heat of last week, this weekend looks fantastic, with cool nights and warm afternoons in the mid 80s.
