Winter isn’t over yet, but I think I can see the end from here. I appreciate that I no longer need a flashlight to find my way through the parking lot at the end of the day.
It was lovely to see so many of you at our Rosé and Valentine’s Celebration, and this week we loaded both FedEx and UPS with boxes of Rosé to ship to wine lovers around the country. I think that the 2025 vintage is one of the best Rosé wines we have produced, and I hope you have many chances to enjoy it with friends and family over the coming months.
Let’s Spring Ahead…
Now that Spring is coming into view, we are looking forward to many events over the next few months. In March we are releasing Trop, our first Port-style wine produced at Winter’s Hill. This wine is 100% Pinot noir from our vineyards, including the brandy that we used to arrest the fermentation and fortify the wine. The brandy was distilled from estate grown Pinot noir, and it has been aging in oak since 2017. Your first chance to taste it is March 21, I hope you can join us.
In April we are releasing our Spring Shipment to our members, featuring three new wines. As usual, our members can fully customize their shipments, and we are pleased that we can ship to several new states this year.
Looking forward to May, I hope you’ll mark May 3 to join us for Pinot Blanc Oregon. Featuring 12 Willamette Valley wineries and just as many unique expressions of the Pinot blanc grape, this will be a delicious event! Watch your inbox for more details coming in the weeks ahead.
