Winter's Hill Estate in Dundee, Oregon

First, we raise a glass to all our friends still shivering through the recent storms and power outages across the country. I hope milder weather and line crews arrive soon. If you have ordered wine in the past two weeks, rest assured that we are holding onto your wine until it is safe to ship. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

Meanwhile in the Pacific Northwest, this winter has swung between warm and (very) wet, or cold and dry. Neither has contributed to the snow-pack, and we are getting concerned about drought later this summer. Personally, I’d love to see a few weeks of normal winter weather, with lots of snow piling up in the Cascades!

The 2025 Rosé is Bottled!

In the winery, this week we bottled our 2025 Rosé of Pinot noir, and we are excited to share it with you, starting with our Rosé and Valentines Celebration on February 14th. With traditional cheese fondue from Famer’s Plate & Pantry, this has become one of my favorite events. In addition to the bottled wine, we also have 1.5L and 3L pouches available again. We made a little extra this year, so I hope we don’t run out again!

Support the Dundee Hills Winegrowers Association

One of the special things about Oregon is the way our wineries work together to promote the entire region. The Dundee Hills is a small region, but it is home to more than 50 outstanding wineries, some much larger than Winter’s Hill, and some much smaller. Each year we collaborate to present a special vintage collection of 24 bottles of Pinot noir from 24 different wineries. This year showcases the 2023 vintage, with the proceeds going to support the Dundee Hills Winegrowers Association. Winter’s Hill has been a member since the association was formed back in 2005, and we’re proud to continue working together to support our neighbors.
