One of the ways we reduce waste at Winter’s Hill is by donating our empty wine cartons to the Dayton Food Pantry. Twice a month, families in need can “shop” the Food Pantry, selecting the food items that they can use. The wine boxes are just the right size to carry their food home with them.
By re-using our boxes, the Food Pantry can use more of their funds to help local families, rather than purchasing boxes or bags. When the need is this great, every little bit helps!
