An Entertaining Chardonnay
You may have heard that Pinot noir is famously difficult to make well and, unfortunately, very easy to mess up. So much so that we don’t take winemaking risks with any of our Pinot noir.
But Chardonnay lends itself to a little winemaking creativity! This varietal can be shaped in ways which add structure and character to the wine.
Our current Chardonnays include:
- 2021 Dundee Hills Chardonnay – a classic and balanced wine, fermented in a blend of new and previously filled barrels.
- 2021 González Chardonnay – a powerful and intense, from a new French oak puncheon.
And, today, we are introducing our new Chardonnay:
- 2023 Watershed Chardonnay – a light and refreshing wine, that is meant for both summer dinners and patio feasts.
I’m excited to share it with you because I absolutely love it! See below for more winemaking information and special offers. I hope this becomes one of your go-to wines for summer entertaining.
Cheers!
Russell
P.S. Summer hours have started! Join us everyday on the tasting patio between 11am – 4pm for tastings.
