Bump ba-chishh! Bump ba-chishh! We’re bottling sparkling wine today, and the equipment provides a steady rhythm as the bottles go down the line. There is also clanking of bottles and the Beep! Beep! Beep! of the forklift so the winery is a bit noisier than usual. But, after the bottling is complete, the peaceful atmosphere will return as the wine quietly ages for 3-4 years. So much happens as a wine ages and I encourage you to learn more about this process by trying a barrel tasting. We just scheduled our 2023 Pinot noir Barrel Tasting and Futures sale and I invite you to join us. The tastings will be held May 17-19 and May 24-26 and reservations are required. As always, tastings are complimentary for club members and we would love to see you all here. And now back to the bottling line… |
